I had come across this really cool lamp. It may be a bit outlandish for some, but I like it. I am not saying that I would put it into my house, but I think it is a inventive and really neat idea. For some people they may just absolutely LOVE it! The design is both evident in form and function. The idea that it is pouring light. Sometime when I see either a new product, a fashion show, or an interior space I think to myself concept. I begin to observe and investigate this design and unravel it. I try to dive into the essence of the design. It is sort of like working backwards. Typically we begin to create a concept and design based on that, but it is interesting the turn the tables. To look at designs and understand their direction and drive for the design. The concept for this pouring light lamp would be that of a tea bag, which is clearly evident. The shape itself mimics that of a tea cup pouring out liquid. The pull string or switch is actually the little tea bag, which is on the bottom of the cup.
